The City of Round Rock is located about 17 miles north of Austin, and has over 90,000 people located within its borders. The City of Pflugerville is a mere 12 minutes from downtown Austin and has a German heritage and culture that adds flavor to the area. In 2007, the population was just over 35,000, but this popular area is continuing to expand at a good rate, and attracts a young demographic. The city is just north of the Colorado River.
