Apartments in downtown Detroit are a great place to live these days as the city is experiencing rapid growth and redevelopment. Sports are a big draw here and Comerica Park, Ford Field and Joe Louis Arena each offer different options for fans. A variety of performing arts venues are located in town as well, including Michigan Opera Theatre, Fox Theatre and the Gem Theatre. The city is known for a vibrant music scene and there are plenty of dining options as well.

Midtown is an up-and-coming section of the city that has a great atmosphere. The Detroit Institute of Art, the Detroit Science Center and the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) are all located here, as well as other venues. Detroit’s near-east side is home to the Eastern Market, which draws over 45,000 people each week who enjoy sifting through the stalls and stocking up on various food items. There are also a variety of ethnic neighborhoods in Detroit, including Mexicantown and Corktown. Finding a place to live in downtown Detroit is really as simple as discovering the area of town that feels the most like home.
