If you are looking for apartments in downtown/Hollywood areas of the Los Angeles region you are not alone. This glamorous spot is the city center, bustling with opportunities for dining, entertainment and nightlife experiences that rival any big city in the world. It is here you will find the Staples Center, home to the L.A. Lakers and Clippers. The L.A. LIVE entertainment complex is also located in this area of town, complete with the popular Nokia Theatre. Other attractions include the Museum of Neon Art, Exposition Park and Dodger Stadium.

Hollywood has a charm all its own, and those who love the neighborhood can’t see themselves living anywhere else. Still, there are several other communities that are worth considering when it comes to living in or near this region of the city. Try taking a peek at places such as Huntington Park, which is located a little over six miles from downtown. With a population of just over 64,000 people, it is a bit less crowded, but still close enough to the city center to be a great pick. South Gate is another possibility if you want to live close to all that is going on.
