April 25, 2012 | 0 Comments

If you are looking for apartments for rent in Indianapolis, you may want to search near the Fountain Square Cultural District. Reminiscent of a European village with its town square and fountain, it is a great place to live in the city. There is an interesting mix of businesses here as well as plenty of entertainment and dining venues. This area is located about a mile outside of downtown Indianapolis to the southeast, and it used to be a commercial district. For a while, this section of the city was run down, but recent revitalization efforts have brought Fountain Square back to a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of appeal.

This is a great place to rent if you work downtown, and it offers a sense of community as well. There is a music store in this section of the city and several antique stores where you can browse and while away the time. Ethnically and socially diverse, this is also a great place for artists and other creative types. There are live/work options in this area, as well as a number of galleries. If you are looking for a place to live in Indianapolis that will feed your creativity, this neighborhood is a good one to consider.
