Apartments in Georgetown, Texas are in an area that is located about 28 miles north of Austin. Population estimates in 2002 have the city showing a population of over 34,000 people and they are located in a variety of housing styles including single-family, multi-family and apartment buildings. The city is also home to Southwestern University, which boasts a 700 acre campus. Many of the buildings in this area have historic value and significance as well.

The downtown area of Georgetown has ample dining and shopping as well as historic charm. Whether going to see a performance at the historic Palace Theater or taking advantage of the ten miles you can hike or bike on the trail system, there are a lot of things to keep you occupied in the area. Dining options include American, Mexican, Italian, German and Asian food styles, among others, so there is truly something for every taste.

Lake Georgetown is nearby for those who can’t resist the allure of water. The 1200 acre lake has camping facilities, a wildlife preserve and offers boating and fishing opportunities as well. A great spot to get away and enjoy what Texas has to offer. There are also several parks in the area around the lake.
