If you are going to be renting one of the downtown apartments in Baltimore, MD, you may want to look near the Inner Harbor. The Inner Harbor was once an industrial port, but now is as beautiful as it is lively. The National Aquarium is here, with over 16,000 animals on display. The Baltimore Maritime Museum and Port Discovery Children’s Museum are also located in the Inner Harbor. Water taxis and cruise ships will take you out on the water—or you can simply dine in one of the many restaurants in the area and take in the view.

If you are a sports fan, this area provides good access to many of the games. Baseball fans can enjoy an afternoon at Camden Yards, and those who love football will find the M&T Bank Stadium is also nearby. For those who prefer to shop until they drop, Harborplace provides a lovely setting, featuring over 120 unique stores to sample. Living near the Inner Harbor can be a great idea if you enjoy the water and would like to have a variety of different entertainment options at your fingertips each day.
