This section of the city is beautiful as well as vibrant, and it is well-known across the nation for the River Walk. With stores, restaurants and nightlife spots dotted throughout this famous area of San Antonio, it is the place to be if you want to have a great night on the town. The city also recently opened an additional 1.3-mile extension of the River Walk, so it now runs from downtown to the San Antonio Museum of Art.

River taxis take people up and down the water here, and the entire scene is something to behold. This is also a popular tourist stop for those visiting the area. The River Walk goes through many different areas of the city, taking people past a variety of both historic and modern properties along the water. Whether you enjoy the vibrant scene in the evening or just like to stroll around town, this particular area of the city has much to offer. Rentals here can be a bit more expensive than in other sections of San Antonio, but then again, you are close to the heart of everything that makes this such a great town.
