The "Tri-Cities" area in Washington consists of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland, and it is located in the southeastern section of the state. If you are looking for apartments in Tri-Cities area, you’ll need to pick one of the three, but the proximity means you can also enjoy the amenities that other two have to offer. Another benefit to living in the Tri-Cities region is the fact that it is situated close to other big cities. Seattle and Portland, Oregon are less than four hours away by car, and Spokane is also within a short drive. This means big-city access to a number of the major hubs in the area.

Outdoor recreation is plentiful here, and the weather tends to cooperate. There are three rivers in the area—the Yakima, Snake, and Columbia—which means that water skiing, fishing, and boating are popular activities. This region is also known for its wine, sporting over 160 wineries. Those who love golf won’t be disappointed either, as the Tri-Cities have ten courses to boast among them.
