What is there to offer in Mustang and Yukon?

Mustangs are fast horses and fast cars, and that is a perfect name for one of the fastest growing cities in one of the fastest growing counties in Oklahoma. The suburb of Mustang is a small bedroom community 15 miles southwest of downtown Oklahoma City, in Canadian County. It is located on a stretch of the historic Chisholm Trail. This major tourist destination was a cattle trail once traveled by millions of cattle, horses and cowboys on their way to Kansas.

Each year, Mustang hosts the Annual Western Days festival, which features blue grass music, chili cook offs, a Mustang Car Show, and the Mustang Round Up Club Open Rodeo.

Another suburb close to Oklahoma City and adjacent to Mustang is the city of Yukon, named by Business Week as Oklahoma’s “Best Affordable Suburb” in 2009. As sister city to Krnov in the Czech Republic, Yukon holds an annual Czech Festival and is home to Czech hall, an historic site dedicated to preserving that country’s customs and heritage.

These two cities are vibrant, lively and safe, an ideal combination for those interested in relocating to the area. Mustang/Yukon apartments are priced from around $530-$905 per month.
