West Carrollton has a tagline that aptly describes the atmosphere of the small town: "Welcome home." Located 50 minutes north of Cincinnati and mere minutes from Dayton, apartments in this area make great rentals. With approximately 15,000 residents, this city is neither too small nor too large. Interstate 75 provides easy access to the downtown Dayton area with all its shopping, schools, dining and nightlife and makes commuting to work in the city an easy proposition. West Carrollton has 6.4 square miles of land on which there are approximately 175 acres of park land. The 420 businesses in town give residents ample access to a variety of goods and services, but anything you need can also be found in downtown Dayton, which is right next door. There are some fun festivals in West Carrollton too, such as "Old Fashioned Day," which takes place in October, and the Fourth of July Ice Cream Festival.
