April 25, 2012 | 0 Comments

The Yakima Valley is located in central Washington in a region that is well-known for its wineries. There are quite a number of them in the area, including Airfield Estates, Maryhill, and Silver Lake. Outdoor recreation is another draw in this section of the state. There are many places to relax and unwind outside, or to indulge in more active pursuits such as fishing, biking, or hiking. The Pacific Crest Trail and the White Pass Scenic Byway are both great places to go if you want to take in some of the local scenery.

Apartments in Yakima area can be found in towns such as Union Gap, Selah, and Yakima itself. Selah is a nice, quiet place if you appreciate more of a rural lifestyle. Toppenish is another appealing location. This city has a series of seventy outdoor murals that are always on display, helping to illustrate some of the history of the area. If you like a city with a bit more action, downtown Yakima features wine-tasting rooms, live music, and a number of galleries and boutiques to explore, as well as a variety of restaurants and coffeeshops.
