What types of art and culture can I experience in the Tri-Cities area?

If you are planning to live in one of the many apartments in Tri-Cities area, you’ll be happy to know that the art and culture scene here is thriving. Music lovers will get to enjoy such treats as the Mid-Columbia Symphony or the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers. The Academy of Children’s Theatre and CBC Performing Arts are also located here, as well as the Mid-Columbia Ballet.

There are some great museums in the Tri-CIties area, too, such as the Fort Walla Walla Museum and the Three Rivers Children’s Museum. The Tamastslikt Cultural Institute is yet another spot where you can learn more about the native tribes and area history. The Sacagawea Heritage Trail is a popular attraction in the region, and it combines recreation with education. Although this is something that tourists are drawn to, the local population also enjoys having it at their fingertips. The Tri-Cities area has much to offer in the way of local history and the performing arts.
