Tremont is one of Cleveland’s hidden treasures. One of the city’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods, the area is becoming home to many professionals and artists, who are attracted to its excellent views, historic housing areas, and small-town feel.
The influx of new people has inspired new art galleries, boutiques, pubs, and award-winning restaurants, such as Michael Symon’s Lolita Bistro, tucked just off Lincoln Park, a large green area that is the neighborhood’s center. The park contains a neighborhood swimming pool, a gazebo, and numerous benches. In the summer, it hosts free monthly concerts.
Other events in the area include monthly art walks, the Tremont Art and Cultural Festival, the Taste of Tremont festival, and several ethnic festivals held by local churches, such as the Greek and Polish fests.
Rentals in Tremont range from studios to three-bedroom units and include some lofts and restored buildings. Prices are slightly higher than average for apartments Cleveland Ohio has to offer.
