If you are a true socialite, you need to be looking at apartments in South Sound close to a thriving nightlife.

Tacoma, Washington is the most happening city in the South Sound. More than Olympia or Bremerton or any of the surrounding suburbs, Tacoma boasts a variety of nightclubs, bars, and live-music venues. To give you a flavor, here are three of the best spots:

2803 6th Ave., Tacoma

Jazzbones is a spectacular nightclub that features local and international jazz and blues artists. They have a surprisingly diverse menu, serving everything from prawns to wings to sushi.

The Swiss
1904 Jefferson Ave., Tacoma

Located in an historic building, this nightclub was originally built by The Swiss Society as a gathering place back in 1913. The half-timbered hall features a diverse music selection and several pool tables. The pool is free from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily and every Tuesday night.

100 S. 9th St., Tacoma

Cans pretends to be a dive bar, but its beautiful building doesn’t support the claim. The bar almost resembles a bank lobby, if a bank lobby had a moose head and served only canned beers. Cans offers a great selection of over thirty varieties of beer.
