Where should I go if I’m looking for apartments in central coastal San Diego?

If you are looking for apartments in central coastal San Diego, areas such as National City, Imperial Beach and Chula Vista may be some places to investigate. Chula Vista literally means "beautiful view," and the town is aptly named. One side of Chula Vista features the mountains and the other, the Pacific Ocean. There are about 230,000 people that live in this city, and San Diego is only seven miles away. A popular tourist spot, it can also make a great place to look for rentals. There are plenty of perks here, including golf courses and some amazing parks.

National City is San Diego’s second oldest town and it is truly close to almost everything. San Diego Bay, the border of Mexico and the downtown San Diego area are all nearby. Add to that the convenient highway network, and you have a near perfect location. If you look at the city on a map, you can see that I-5, I-805 and two highways surround the city, providing good access to other areas in the region. National City has a population of around 61,000 people. To the south of here you can also find Imperial Beach.
