Tampering with safety devices/equipment will result in a warning, followed by a direct call, and a third offense will result in being asked to leave. Guests are responsible for any resulting plumbing issues if food or debris is put down sinks. For winter stays, do not leave windows or doors open to prevent pipes from freezing, as guests will be held responsible for any resulting damage. Sidewalks are maintained once every 48 hours upon snowfall, and driveways are cleared. Be mindful of snow melting in the garage. The use of the mailbox is not included; a PO box can be set up on inquiry for a fee. If items are left behind, guests must arrange collection within 14 days of checkout, with shipping incurring a $50 fee plus postage. Do not try to fix or troubleshoot any issues with plumbing, appliances, or electrical systems unless instructed otherwise. Host does not offer compensation for unforeseeable inconveniences. No temporary or permanent fixtures are allowed, and decorations should not be taped or pinned to walls or furnishings. Guests will be charged $200 for a Banff Pass and $200 for a unit fob/key if not returned. Late check-out requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance, with unauthorized late check-outs incurring a fee.
