Property Review: Granville Square
**Unresolved Initial Inspection Issues:** Since moving in on November 11, 2023, several problems from our Initial Inspection Report remain unaddressed, including a partially painted front door, paint residue, paint chips, discoloured windowpanes, no fireplace cover, holes in basement walls, and a rusty bathroom vanity. Despite promises, no actions were taken.
**Energized Stall Issue:** Since November 2023, we’ve paid for an energized parking stall. From January to February 2024, the stall had... no power. Despite numerous calls and promises, the issue wasn't resolved until mid-April 2024. There was no maintenance record for this issue.
**Mice Infestation:** Since March 2024, we have dealt with a persistent mouse problem. Despite reporting it multiple times, property management's response was inadequate, only placing a few traps in the basement. They claimed no signs of mice despite evidence of extensive droppings.
**Basement Leak:** On April 2, 2024, we discovered a basement leak. A contractor identified multiple leaking areas, including one behind an electrical panel. No further action was taken.
**Move-Out Experience:** We moved out on May 31, 2024, due to mice droppings and lack of action from the property team. During the move-out inspection, our wardrobe was removed and damaged. A new tenant was scheduled to move in on June 1, 2024, without addressing the issues, jeopardizing their safety. Immediate action is needed to rectify these problems.
