GREAT Place to Reside!

I lived in Village at Lakeside Apts for four years (2018-2022) and it was a great experience! The office staff is so personable and they really care about their residents. The 2BR/2BA apt I resided in was very spacious and well-maintained. Every maintenance request (which weren't many!) was handled in a timely fashion. The community is quiet and neighbors are extremely friendly. Very pet friendly. The pool, workout room and lake amenities are second to none! Complex is located in a great area… of Auburn near restaurants and mall. I would not live anywhere else in Auburn!

AMAZING place to live

I have resided at The Village at Lakeside for a year now and it has been a wonderful experience.
* They are family friendly
* Even though you are in Auburn, being surrounded by the lake and beautiful landscape, it has a resort like feel
* The office staff is excellent and go above and beyond to take care of the tenants needs.
* My apartment was wonderfully upkept and I never felt like it was traditional apartment living.
* Being a single mom, I always felt safe in our complex. I loved that… peace of mind.
Thank you for providing a great year to me and my boys. I am only moving due to buying a house, and I will truly miss The Village at Lakeside.

Fair place to live

My SIL rented an apartment here for about 9 months and I would give this place a fair rating. The office staff is nice and accommodating, the pool area is gorgeous, my kids loved fishing int he pond but the apartments are alright and f you live on the bottom floor - be prepared to hear absolutely everything your upstairs neighbor does.Several neighbors like to smoke so you can't open a window or door without your place smelling like smoke. I do like the fact that the main living areas are not… carpeted. They are pet friendly and accommodating with a dog park - which is actually pretty awesome. While she was there we noticed several broke down, flat tired vehicles all over the place, which doesn't say much for the aesthetics of the place. Overall, an alright place to lay your head for a short time, but I wouldn't consider living there longterm. Convenient drive to shopping, about 2 minutes from Walmart neighborhood market, Starbucks, Krispie Kreme and the mall.

Smoking optional - not worth the price

Smoking optional. The complex is advertised as smoke-free apartments and the lease has a detailed contract regarding all apartments being smoke-free, however, my apartment constantly smells of smoke from my neighbors smoking inside and the smell seeping through to my apartment. I have reported this issue for months and staff will half acknowledge the problem, but it continues. I am looking for a new place to live because of this problem. The appliances are older and this especially can be… noticed with the air conditioner in the heat of summer. Not worth the price.
