The Point at Greystone

The Point Greystone has some qualities that initially made it an appealing place to live. The location is excellent, the community is small, the grounds are generally clean and well maintained, and my neighbors have been respectful and very quiet. If those were the only factors to consider, I would have been very satisfied.

Unfortunately, the negatives have outweighed the positives...

The apartments are pricey, especially considering they are very small, there are no community amenities, and… residents are responsible for paying all utilities.

There is only one dumpster for the entire complex, and people from neighboring apartments regularly dump their garbage there, causing it to overflow. Management is aware of the problem, but it continues.

Maintenance has also been inconsistent. Some requests are handled promptly, while others require repeated follow-up or take far longer than they should. Reliability has been hit or miss.

The management staff is courteous, but when it comes to important issues, the response time has been frustratingly slow. It took more than six months for me to receive a mailbox key after moving in. My unit still does not have address numbers, despite multiple requests since the day I moved in. These are basic issues that should not take months/years to resolve.

Overall, The Point Greystone has the potential to be a good place to live because of its location and quiet atmosphere, but the lack of timely maintenance, slow resolution of basic concerns, and overall value make it difficult for me to recommend. Read More
