Country Haven

My refrigerator went out and after multiple reports I was without a refrigerator for a month I am a diabetic and my insulin ended up going bad since I had no way to store it. The management told me next time I would have to pay to have it fixed. Now my A/C has been out for 3 weeks and I keep reporting it. Each time they tell me they are going to send someone out and I'm still waiting in this horrible heat.

Four months in, and I love living here. The rent is very affordable, and if you have kids, the schools in this area are rated 10/10. I don't have kids, but affordability can sometimes mean an unsafe area. However, in this case, you get both (affordability and safe area), which is awesome. The community is very quiet. Occasionally, you might hear cars blasting loud music at night, but it’s not a frequent occurrence.

There are multiple grocery stores nearby to choose from, including Piggly Wiggly... , Publix, Walmart, Rouses Market, Dollar General, and more.

The unit itself is decent. My unit doesn’t have a built-in lighting system, which is a bit unusual. The only area with a ceiling light is the kitchen, but that’s easily resolved with floor lamps.

The bedroom can feel either too hot or too cold depending on the weather, but for me, it’s not a deal breaker. I just use a heater in the winter and a fan in the summer.

If you look around the complexes, over 20 units currently have window ac units because their air is broken. Ours has been broken for months and they won't fix it or give us a window ac. Maintenance takes weeks or even months to fix things, and the office people refuse to help you if anything breaks, they just brush you off because they can't be bothered to deal with anyone, very rude. Our neighbor had their stove break and it took them 2 weeks of constantly pestering them to actually get a new... one. The washer and dryers are constantly broken and take forever to get fixed. Good Morning your month to month rent will go up by 3,000 plus if you don't renew you terms please don't move here plus the manger sucks and is not very good at doing her job at all, also when it comes to getting stuff fixed good luck with that. We have got a great manager at Country Haven! And she is very nice to all tenants. We all love her at Country Haven. We have good maintenance guys. And they have been the best guys for our property. THey take good care of the property and the apartments. THey are up to date on things that had not been before. And we all love our apartment management Adcock Properties. And these are the best apartments here in Saraland.
