On the water yet in the heart of Pittsburgh's historic Strip District, there's no place quite like The Cork Factory. Finally, an address that's as interesting as you are. Originally constructed in 1901 as the Armstrong Cork Factory, this landmark... structure has been artfully converted into 297 Loft Apartments in the heart of Pittsburgh's popular Strip District. The nightlife, the shopping, the history, the recreation --it's yours for the taking. Wake up to a breathtaking view of the Pittsburgh skyline right outside your window. Make a latte run up the block or, better yet, brew it at home and sip it poolside or at river's edge. You can check the morning news online in the Courtyard Garden with our wireless internet access. We look forward to you making your new home at the address and location that will impress your friends, and the comfort and ease of living that will impress you!

We continue to love living at the Cork Factory. The staff on site are amazing! We appreciate the new furniture outside, especially the pool chairs. Additional pool chairs would certainly be utilized, as they are often full during busy days!

We still love living at the Cork Factory. The new gym is great. The staff on site are all wonderful! My primary complaints are for corporate management in New York - who make decisions based on what they think is best for the company as opposed to what is best for residents. Raising the rent more, making cuts to the well-established amenities, removing the memorial library, etc.

Great sense of community! There are always events happening and people are kind and inclusive. As a new resident, I immediately felt welcome.

Living at Cork Factory is a very positive experience overall. The building has a unique character thanks to the historic structure combined with modern finishes, which really sets it apart from standard apartment complexes.
The location is one of the biggest strengths. Being in the Strip District means easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and downtown, while still feeling slightly removed from the busiest areas.
Rent is on the higher side, but it feels justified by the... quality of the apartments, amenities, and location. One area for improvement is that the common areas could be better aligned with the standards of nearby condominium buildings, especially considering the positioning of the property and the rent levels in the area. Overall, Cork Factory is a great choice for anyone looking for a distinctive living space with character in Pittsburgh, especially for professionals who appreciate design, walkability, and an urban lifestyle.
