Riverfront Towers

I am a resident of Riverfront Towers, and for 9 days I have lived with a plumbing failure, an overpowering odor, and the threat of mold.

Management admitted they would not allow their own family to live in these conditions — yet expected me to.

I attempted to resolve this privately, but the issue was not handled with timely follow-up or appropriate communication.

This is not about money. This is about humane treatment.

I am also speaking up for our senior residents, who deserve safe and... dignified living conditions.

My peace—and the health of this community—are non-negotiable.

Apartments leak and mold is on ceiling in closet does not seem sake at all.

Luxury stops at the view. All the good people are leaving in droves. Do not recommend renting here. Out-of-state ownership could not care less. Lack of communication is maddening; elevators never work; far from an actual experience of luxury.

Moved in a few months ago in one of the higher floors. The AC/heat comes from a window unit that looks really old and is really loud. The wall/windows around the heating unit are not air tight, so cold air is constantly blowing into the apartment and keeping the heating unit running throughout the whole winter. Even with keeping the thermostat at or below 65 degrees, my DTE bills are over $200/month for a 700 sq ft apartment in the winter because of how inefficient the old heating unit is.... Maintenance said they could only tighten some screws and put tape around the unit to seal some of the cold air out, but the heater is still constantly running (loudly), randomly restarting itself, not being able to keep a steady temperature due to the cold air blowing in, and the front office won't authorize a replacement or help with the high heating costs. The maintenance guy was nice though, and the apartment has a nice view.

As I'm writing this, everyone on my floor has been in the lobby because for the second time this week there was a fire alarm and thick smoke on our floor. We have been here from 2:30am (it's 3:50am right now) waiting for anyone to let us know what's going on. Half an hour ago, a security worker said the Fire Department was on the way, but still no sign of them and that security guy left too.

It's been 1 yr staying at the Riverfront Towers. Since day one management was very helpful and welcoming us into our home. The scenery is beautiful. The pool, hot tub, and sauna is relaxing. The fireworks was exciting for the family to see from the riverfront. The night atmosphere is romantic with the firepit and night lights from the bridge/Canada. They keep the place really clean. The store is very convenient The neighbors are really nice. Security is super secure. Easy commute with the... Detroit People mover.
