Plaza Point Apartments

A great building and reasonable rent to live so close to Loose Park, Plaza shopping and Plaza restaurants. The building provides a secure parking space, on site handyman and 24-hour doormen. Felt very safe, secure property. Would recommend this property to anyone interested.

Unlike the colossal high-rises nearby this building boast a smaller number of units adding to its charm. A neighborly atmosphere that's irresistible. I stayed at Plaza Point for 4 months and I had to move to a different city. The apartments are spacious and the rent is affordable for Plaza. However, when i broke the lease, I was asked to pay one month's rent and my security deposit was retained. This was not mentioned in the rental agreement. I paid the rent and security deposit and left. 3 months later, I got a call from a collection agency asking that I owe Devinki real estate $2,500 for breaking the lease with plaza point.
I never... received any documentation from anyone. I was not told about this amount by my landlord when I was breaking the lease nor was this mentioned on the rental agreement. I asked for documentation about this from Plaza Point, they said they don't have it. And I don't know why would Devinki real estate charge me without sending me a notice. I had no visibility with them. I should ideally receive any such notice from my apartment. The collection agency threatened me to put that on my credit history. I lived here for 2 and a half years and would have stayed longer had I not been relocated for my job. Loved the location and the office staff and doormen were always helpful. I never had any significant maintenance issues but the minors ones I had were tended to extremely quickly and noise was never a problem. I absolutely loved the balconys and huge closet space. I lived with my boyfriend at Plaza Point for 1-year and we loved it.

The Lady in the office was extremely responsive and friendly. The location to the Plaza you really can't beat. And the amount of space you get for the money is unheard of for that area.

The building itself is very quiet and clean. I think it could do for some updating especially to the lobby/reception area. But that would be the only complaint.

Overall it is a great place, great location and great price.
