Residences at Sherwood

We like the area and feel safe. The main problem is management. During the snow storm in February 2021 the property had a water main that broke and flooded two apartments. The Fire Department came out due to an older residence lived there. They shut our water off and management didn’t inform us. The FD did. I called water department and they said the water main is on private property and was their responsibility for fixing the water. They refused and the water department was trying to… help us Seniors so they did fix the problem. Several of Senior had no drinking water on hand and no one was able to use our bathroom facilities. I called management and they refused to talk about it and hung up the phone on me while trying to find out what was going on. Some residents were told to call 911 about the water problem. Management when home and left us Seniors to take care of our own problems due to being neglected by management. They didn’t even check on us or offer to bring us water to drink during this time. This happen in a 16-36 hour time spand. Now they sent out a flyer asking you to give them a five star rating to win a Bristol Patio set. Only the people that did this could win it. This property is quiet, well maintained and well managed.
Office manager and maintenance manager are always friendly and ready to help. A nice community of seniors with surprising features.

My apartment is just perfect. Excellent storage. Well maintained by the maintenance staff.
The manager is approachable and always helpful.
The neighbors are friendly and you are bookended by two great churches.

Sandra is professional and always courteous with a smile. The grounds are well-kept and the neighborhood is quiet. Very nice place to live..
