Beautiful • Comfortable • Well-Maintained Living

I’ve lived at The Place at Forest Ridge for almost two years. The grounds are clean, the unit is bright with good storage, and maintenance responds quickly. Amenities like the gym are well-kept and parking is ample. The neighborhood is convenient, and management is professional and responsive. The community is set amid beautiful natural surroundings, making it a peaceful, well-run place to call home.

Lived here for a whole year...

Lived here for a year now, with my husband. The apartment itself seen better days, its old, but keeping it clean, it does the job. No microwaves in the studio apartments, if that is what you need. You can also hear noises from other apartments, I personal don't care for the noise, using headphones is good to have. I'm not big on talking to others, but everyone here is respectful and nice.

Home

We absolutely love living at The Place at Forest Ridge! We’ve been here for a couple of years now, and it truly feels like home.

The staff is amazing—always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It’s easily the best apartment complex and team we’ve ever worked with. The maintenance team is incredible as well; they’re quick, professional, and always make sure things are taken care of.

One of our favorite parts of living here is the community. It’s vibrant and welcoming, and the events...
they host really help bring everyone together. They’re also wonderful with our pets, which means a lot to us.

We’re so happy we found our home here and would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live in Flagstaff!

A Mixed Bag These Days

First, the great things about Forest Ridge:
The apartments are really nice, especially on the second floor you get a hitgh ceiling and private front/back deck areas.
There is a dog park on the property, which is a great way to meet other dog people who are also neighbors.
The community here is really great; between the park and the social events that they put, on I actually know lots of my neighbors, and a few of them have even become close friends. I love this about forest ridge.

Now, the...
downsides:
This property is NOT smoke free. While Management is working with me to *mitigate* the impact that second hand smoke from an adjoining apartment has on my health, this has not been enough and may result in me soon moving out. Do NOT move here if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke.

The laundry room sucks. It is run by an outside company and management doesn't seem too concerned with addressing their terrible service (broken machines, machines eating your money, going offline, etc).

Management is very difficult to reach since they adopted an ai phone assistant in the past year. You will yell at "Milo" a lot. The actual humans who work here are super rad and friendly, but the way the system works leaves much to be desired.

Maintenance is slow: if you submit a maintenance request, nothing happens unless you also pester them many times until you feel like a jerk but thats what you have to do to get something fixed. There is no reliable way to contact emergency maintenance after hours. (see mention of the ai assistant above).

They give good deals on rent the year you move in. But your rent will go up quite a bit each time you're up for renewal thereafter.

There is a lot of trash and dog poop on "campus". TThis issue seems to improve a good bit in the summer when they have landscapers keeping the place up weekly, but in the winter its not great.

All in all, im still hoping that the good folks in the office will resolve my secondhand smoke issue, and i will continue to organize cleanups around the place with the great neighbors and friends ive come to know here to help keep the place less gross in the winter. IF so, I will renew my lease if I can afford to.
