Late fees for their known system issues
Management implemented a new faulty system that doesn’t always take payments when you go online and pay rent. We paid the rent, and it was confirmed, but payment was never taken so our rent was marked as late. The apartment complex charged us over $200 in late fees for a a KNOWN issue out of our control. Several tenants have complained about the system, yet are still being charged late fees for it. Office staff admitted that the company and owners know about the issue, but are still charging... the late fees and refusing to waive them. They refused to remove the late fees, even though the rent was late because of an issue caused by the system they use. This is such a disappointing and shady business practice and I am second guessing my decision to live here.
