Sky at P83

My wife and I walked in today with our son for a viewing as we are looking for a new place to call home. We walked in to the leasing office and we were greeted with a short Hello by a leasing agent as she was speaking to a resident having a casual conversation. We then started looking at pamphlets patiently waiting by her desk to remain in sight. 15min pass by and another resident walks in. He walks up to their desk and joins in on the conversation. Meanwhile we are still waiting for a signal... that she will be with us soon. Nothing. I then hear one of the residents there tell the other, well I'll let you guys chat, and walks away. The resident remaining who walked in after us then sits down at her desk and makes himself comfortableto continue their casual conversation. At this point we are a bit agitated as more time has passed by waiting with our toddler, not receiving anything from the agent. I would give this place zero stars if I could!!!! The air conditioning is ancient and it was costing $20 A DAY to keep the apartment at 80 degrees. We even had SRP come out and see if there was anything they could do but it was the unit. Maintenance came out multiple times to "fix" it which did nothing. We ended up having to break the lease and pay $2000 to get out of this place after one month in the summer because it was so hot that we couldn't even sleep. The office staff is not helpful and... the office manager Jason is rude. No one would help us or offer to do anything about it. I repeat, DO NOT LIVE HERE. I lived here for just over three months but I will say that this the best apartment complex I have ever rented from. Staff was professional, helpful and respectful. They have great and updated fitness center, a nice club house and pool facilities. The only area of frustration I had was when I had guest that came in the evening after the gates where closed is that they had a hard time finding my name on the gate system to be let in. Otherwise this is a great complex and I would rent from them... again if I ever needed too. Read More

I have lived in this apartment complex for many years. I lived here before the Tipton Group took over. The management before Tipton was good, but things over the years started to go down hill and certain issues were not being addressed. I was probably going to move out. When Tipton Group took over, things started to change immediately and it WAS AWESOME!!!! The office staff is so kind and helpful.. They care about their residents and the apartment complex took on a whole new light!!! I am not... moving out, I signed my lease for another year. we love living here mainly cause of the good area it is in. we love all the amenities in the apartments. we have been living here for two years and plan to upgrade.
