Roach-Infested Walls, Zero Accountability
Do NOT move here if you care about actually living in a clean, pest-free home. I've been dealing with a full-blown cockroach infestation for months — not the occasional bug, but roaches (including babies) coming out of my walls, from under my kitchen island, and under my appliances on a weekly basis. I've done management's job for them: pulled out every appliance and deep-cleaned with bleach, sealed every crack and baseboard, and taped off entry points after every single pest control visit just... to keep it from getting worse. And it's still happening.
When I asked to be let out of my lease over an infestation that's clearly not going away, I got a long explanation about "sewer roaches" and construction on Scottsdale Road, basically telling me it's not their problem and there's nothing they can do — but somehow I'm still on the hook for rent and lease penalties in a unit with an active pest infestation. If it's really a building-wide/city sewer issue like they claim, that's even more reason residents deserve transparency about it before signing a lease, not after months of dealing with it themselves.
Save yourself the stress, the ruined groceries, and the nights of not sleeping because you're worried about what's crawling out of the wall next. Look elsewhere.
