Oakridge Apartments

The area is transitional and this is a great complex. The office staff and maintenance staff are friendly and attentive. The prices are fair and the grounds are clean and nice. I have lived in numerous places and this place is great if you need to live in this Area. I could have stayed here forever.

The drive in gates and walk in gates do not close or lock as promised. This leads to a lot of tweakers. They come in and unplug the soda machines so they can charge their phones and go in the pool to take their baths and wash their clothes. Several people have had things stolen off their property. Who knows what else they’re doing. The gates haven’t worked for over a year and yet they still say it’s a gated community. The hot tub works every other month. The stray cats must number in the… hundreds by now. When you bring these problems up to the management all they say is “we don’t know what to do.” Stay away from this place until they get these problems fixed. I’ve been asked for money when I’m parking my car and had to kick several people out of laundry room who were looking for shelter. No joke – While I am writing this, a Tweaker came to the pool and started to take his socks and shoes off to jump in. I asked him if he lived here and he said no so I told him to leave immediately. I have been living here for more than 3 years now. Prevoious management weren't stellar, but ever since Carrie took over everything has been great! Only problem I ever had was when my AC went out over night. I called first thing in the morning and the matinence manager Phil and his worker Josh came within an hour of me calling. Phil has always been professional, efficient and kind whenever I needed something done. They were able to fix my AC within 3 hours! This was my first apartment complex on living on my own. I had the original and new owners. I think the new owners are better. And take care of the property. While I like to see some of things promised quicker, there is still overall a great potential for growth. It's a great starter apartment. And the maintance team rock and are super friendly!
