Honestly, they owe me an apology.

I came to tour Ragsdale Apartments looking for a place to live. Instead, Robert and Aleia had the audacity to make this the best leasing experience I've had all week.

Honestly, they owe me an apology.

Now I have to go tour other communities and pretend I'm not silently judging every leasing office against them. "Oh... you don't know the answer to that? Robert did." "You don't seem excited to be here? Weird, Aleia was."

Robert knows this property so well I'm convinced he personally laid the… foundation. Every question got an answer, every detail was covered, and somehow it never felt like a sales pitch. It felt like talking to someone who actually takes pride in what they do—which is apparently a rare and endangered species these days.

And Aleia? If friendliness were an Olympic sport, she'd be standing on the podium while everyone else was still looking for parking. She made the whole experience feel effortless, welcoming, and genuinely fun.

To whoever hired these two: congratulations. To every other leasing office downtown: my condolences.

The apartments are beautiful, but people can find nice apartments anywhere. Finding a team that makes you leave thinking, "Well... now every other tour is probably going to disappoint me," is a different story.

Five stars. No complaints. Except that Robert and Aleia completely destroyed the grading curve for everyone else.

Move-In Promises vs. Reality: No TCO, Repeated Delays, and Tenants Stuck in Limbo 2/3/26

Do not rely on this property’s move-in promises!!! Ask them if they have TCO by the city, as of 2/3/26 the answer is NO but they will take your application fee. **Notice the Positive reviews are for Tours** so they're empty b/c they can't move anybody in... My move-in has been pushed 4+ times in the past few months, now to mid-February. The parties tied to this are Avenue5 Residential, LLC, Hawkins Companies (Scottsdale), and W.E. O’Neil Construction.

Move-in was repeatedly communicated as… “imminent,” then changed again. I’ve incurred direct costs in the thousands (housing, storage, related expenses), and I’m aware of 9+ tenants stuck in similar limbo and anything they can do to make it up is ladened with conditional language on ultimately becoming a tenant—so waiting longer can mean higher costs.

If you’re considering this place, don’t believe what the leasing agents are telling you about projected move-in dates unless you have written, date-certain readiness and a clear written policy for tenant costs when dates continue to slip.
