Somo Lofts

The apartment itself is decent but the area around is bad, my car got broken into and neighbors have had problems as well. Plus once a month there are police helicopters flying around looking for people in the middle of the night in the immediate area and someone in the neighborhood just outside that likes to shoot guns in the air. Would not recommend.

I stayed in this compex for close to 2 years,the old Manager was great this new one is just LAZY.. They take too long to fix things in the home and then have several excuses on why the delay. They have you pay this large amount for a non reundable decorating fee then when you move out they want to keep deposit for normal wear and tear things they are absolutely are a rip off I have already told eveyone as well as the new tenants to BEWARE if I would have listened I would not be in this… situation. I've lived here at Somo Lofts for about 4 years, they are beautiful, I've had both a standard and an extended apartment here. The standard includes 2 car garage 1personal driveway, on 1st level there is the garage,washer/dryer(included) and a decent sized backyard, second floor is a bathroom,storage closet, kitchen(refrigerator/stove/microwave/disposal/and dishwasher all included), living room and a good sized balcony. On the 3rd and final level of the apartment is the 2nd bathroom(with storage… closet) and bedroom (w/2closets). The extended version includes everything from the standard but it has a much bigger kitchen with lots of cabinet space and large granite countertops, and an extended living and dining room space(no balcony). There is a large grass area in the center of the apartments but no playground, the pool is relatively small unfortunately, with no pool furniture. There is no gym or any amenities really, but the apartment overall could easily make up for the lack there of. The landscape includes lots of trees mixed with various arizona native plant life. I do like having my own back and front yard. Which is rare to find. The office staff is not the most professional, which I do not like. And while the neighborhood is not the best I feel that it is in transition, there are lots of new businesses and homes being built in the surrounding areas and the convince of its location is a PLUS! It's about 10-15 from Ahwatukee, Tempe, Scottsdale, chandler, and about 20 minutes from Laveen and Mesa, with multiple freeway access! And as for the rent prices are fairly low. I seen these lofts that a friend referred me to, they are amazing!!! Two car garage little yard, w/d, 2 bed 2 bathrooms... this is a ideal place to rent from and so affordable!!!!!!!!!!
