The unit itself was pretty nice...

I rented the 1 bedroom unit- the unit itself was pretty nice and also the view from the bedroom was nice as well. The office staff was always very nice too, the 1 star definitely does not go to the staff or the unit itself. The outside areas of the apartment were very bad. You have to go through a stairway to get to the units and it always smelled like pee, homeless people would gather in there and sleep and leave their trash. Not to mention, they would always break the light so that it kept… that area dark. After I moved out, I left the apartment in great condition, however they found a way to keep the majority of my $500 deposit and only refunded me $60 of it. They will charge you for all kinds of things, they even charged me for carpet cleaning even though the unit had no carpet! Not to mention, took them 3 months to even release the refund.
