I found this apartment in the middle of a very tumultuous time in my life. I have been a resident at Shadowtree Apartments for about 4 months. I absolutely fell in love with the place. I love how green and alive the complex is. When you walk around the complex the atmosphere is very peaceful, quiet, and earthy. I loved the fact that the complex had two pools; one heated and one nonheated and a spa. The office management are very kind and professional and always make you feel at home. The inside of the apartments are modern and mine had brand new carpets! The apartments… come with a balcony or outside area which is nice, it made me feel like I had my own little backyard space. The noise level is extremely low I have never lost a night of sleep living here. The community is friendly and kind everyone seems to be happy and smiling. One of the main features that sold me on this complex was the security. There is a main gate which closes about 5:30 pm every night that requires either your card or your apartment number which calls your cellphone in order to get in and then their are the gates to enter the actual complex which requires a key to get in. People constantly ask me where I live that I am so happy in an apartment because when I talk about my home at shadow tree I almost seem like I'm bragging. My apartment is beautiful. The sunset views mixed with the rare lush greenery are some of the most breath taking pictures myself and neighbors have captured in town. The grills, pools and patio misters and Wi-Fi make you not want to leave the complex, seriously. The neighbors are much like an extended family. We often grill together making it… feel safe where we live because we look out for each other. My husband and I have been living here at Shadowtree for a little over 3 years now and it has been wonderful. Lori in the office knows almost everyone by first name, maintenance is prompt and courteous, the neighborhood is quiet, and we are within walking distance of a mall, the bus line, the hospital, and a multitude of shops and restaurants. That being said, the cost of living at this complex has gone up quite a bit since we moved in, and there isn't a lot of return for the extra money spent.… But for people who like the feel of a small close knit community, the cost of living is a small price to pay. As for my husband and I, even though we love the quiet complex, we will be looking for a place that is more cost effective when our lease is up. Read More
