This place will not have your unit in working order when you move in. Any maintenance needed will take months. If you are even remotely direct with staff, they’ll give you a ‘hostile non compliance eviction’

These people--now run by NorthStar Management---have sent me notices twice in writing that they owe me my deposit and it's been almost two months since I've moved out and they have yet to send me the check. It's unbelievable. I've called, left messages, sent a letter, and NorthStar only called me back once saying that they were going to issue me the check. That was 17 days ago. Take care renting from any of their properties, or kiss your deposit goodbye without due process.

We are two senior citizens and have lived here for 4 years, actually started our 5th year just this month. We are very happy and pleased with our apartment. Our resident manager takes a lot of pride in our apartment community, (planting and hanging flowers by the office), has a table setup in the office with cookies and candies for possible future residents and current residents should they come to talk. The couple of times that we have had an issue that needed to be addressed by maintenance,... our manager has very promptly replied and had the problem taken care of very quickly. The grounds are well maintained and kept up. We feel very fortunate to have found our apartment complex and also very lucky to have everything that we need for shopping etc. so very close at hand.
