This air-conditioned suite, featuring exposed brick walls, is situated at the top of the high street and offers convenient parking right outside. You'll need to climb two flights of stairs to reach the suite.
This cozy downtown suite boasts a queen bed, a smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with apartment-sized appliances and small appliances for a home-like feel. The kitchen also includes salt, pepper, cooking oil, and fresh coffee beans, with a breakfast bar seating two. The lounge area offers comfortable seating, a large smart TV, and a gas stove for heating. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower, and hotel-quality towels, locally made hand soap, and body wash/shampoo are provided. A queen bed with side tables and a wardrobe are located behind a dividing wall, with blackout blinds on the window.
A communal laundry room is available for your use during your stay. Parking is available right outside the property.
Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Fernie is a small city known for its picturesque landscapes and outdoor activities. The historic downtown area, just steps away, features boutique shops, restaurants, and cafes. Fernie Alpine Resort is a 12-minute drive away, with a shuttle bus available in winter. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, and wildlife viewing.
Please expect some local noise throughout the day and into the evenings due to the downtown location. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the unit, property, or on decks, balconies, or courtyards. No pets are allowed. No parties are permitted. Sports equipment should not be brought inside the suite; use the provided storage area. Fines and/or eviction may occur for broken building rules. A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if flooring is coal/dirt stained and requires treatment, including communal areas. Laundering of 'coal' work clothes is not allowed in the unit's washing or drying machines. There will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty. A fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if any of the house rules are not obeyed. Quiet time is from 11 pm - 7 am unless otherwise stated.
