This lovely sized basement condo features a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, stove, toaster, microwave, drip coffee machine, coffee bean grinder, fresh coffee beans, salt, pepper, and cooking oil. The condo also includes a dining and lounge area with comfortable furnishings and a large TV. The bathroom has a tub-shower combo, fluffy white towels, locally made hand soap, body wash/shampoo, and a hairdryer. For your convenience, there is also an entrance area/mudroom with space for boots, coats, and other personal belongings.
Off-road parking is available. A padlock for the ski locker can be rented if needed. An optional Guest Damage Protection policy covers accidental damages up to CA$1000, including lost keys, broken kitchenware, and accidental stains.
Located in the Riverside neighborhood of Fernie, British Columbia, this condo offers easy access to the Elk River and its scenic surroundings. The neighborhood is a residential area with a mix of single-family homes and townhouses, offering a tranquil and serene atmosphere. The Elk River is renowned for its fishing opportunities, and the area is surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes, making it an excellent base for hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing. In the winter months, residents and visitors can also take advantage of the nearby Fernie Alpine Resort. Downtown Fernie, with its shops, restaurants, cafes, and services, is also within close proximity.
Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the unit, property, or on decks, balconies, or courtyards. Pets and parties are not allowed. Sports equipment should not be brought inside the unit and bikes, skis, boards, and/or other large sporting equipment may not be stored in the unit unless otherwise agreed. Fines and/or eviction may occur for broken building rules. If you are staying here for work, do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the building or unit, and do not bring work materials or supplies in either. A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if carpets are found to be coal/dirt stained and require steam cleaning, including communal areas. No laundering of ‘coal’ work clothes is allowed in the unit’s washing or drying machines. There will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty. A fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if any of the house rules are not obeyed. During the winter months, the barbecue and patio may not be available due to snowfall and freezing temperatures. There is construction near the Pinnacle Ridge townhouses and Riverside condos, and although it is not expected to impact your stay, there could be some construction noise and traffic. If you have any kind of allergy please reach out prior to booking.
