This basement condo features a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, oven, stove, toaster, microwave, and drip coffee machine, along with a coffee bean grinder, fresh coffee beans, salt, pepper, and cooking oil. A wooden dining table is adjacent to the kitchen. The lounge area offers comfortable furnishings and a large TV. The bathroom includes a tub-shower combo, fluffy white towels, locally made hand soap and body wash/shampoo, and a hairdryer. All beds are dressed in hotel-quality linens, with storage available in each room.
Off-road parking is available. A ski locker is provided for sporting equipment. Guests can rent a padlock for the ski locker if needed.
The Riverside neighborhood in Fernie, British Columbia, Canada, is situated along the banks of the Elk River, offering easy access to the river and its scenic surroundings. This tranquil residential area boasts beautiful views of the river and surrounding mountains. It's renowned for fishing opportunities and provides easy access to hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing. In winter, it's close to Fernie Alpine Resort. The neighborhood is also within close proximity to downtown Fernie's shops, restaurants, cafes, and services.
During winter months, the BBQ and patio may not be available due to snow and freezing temperatures. There is construction near the Pinnacle Ridge townhouses and Riverside condos, which may result in some construction noise and traffic. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the unit, property, or on decks, balconies, or courtyards. No pets are allowed. No parties are permitted. No sports equipment is allowed inside the unit. Bikes, skis, boards, and/or other large sporting equipment may not be stored in the unit unless otherwise agreed. Fines and/or eviction may occur for broken building rules. For guests staying for work, do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the building or unit, and do not bring work materials or supplies in either. A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if carpets are found to be coal/dirt stained and require steam cleaning, including communal areas. No laundering of ‘coal’ work clothes is allowed in the unit’s washing or drying machines. There will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty. Dark laundry sets are available upon request when booking, and late requests may incur a change-over fee. A fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if any of the house rules are not obeyed.
