How Walkable is Your Community?

How Walkable is Your Community?

Where your apartment is located can make all the difference.  Local amenities, proximity to schools, restaurants — even highways, can be deciding factors when choosing where to live.  To help you find the right apartment for you, ForRent.com now includes Walk Score® on its apartment listings. You might enjoy the seclusion of rural communities, or the busyness of big city life with coffee houses and transit stops within walking distance. By reviewing a community’s Walk Score®, you can gauge the area’s walkability when searching for your new place. The higher the score, the more landmarks within walking distance. The lower the score, the more likely you will need to commute to places. To check an apartment’s Walk Score® on ForRent.com, scroll down to the bottom of the property detail page. Walk Score® and areas within walking distance are shown to the left of the map. Just another benefit from ForRent.com to help you find your perfect place!
