Pumpkin White Chocolate Bread Pudding
I recommend serving this bread pudding with a generous dollop of homemade whipped cream for the ultimate treat. Or use vanilla ice cream if you like it even richer. This dessert would be fantastic for any fall gathering. You could even serve it for Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving as an alternative to pumpkin pie.

PUMPKIN WHITE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING

In case you’ve never had bread pudding, it’s made from pieces of bread soaked in custard that are then baked. If that description doesn’t tempt you, this recipe is sure to.

I started with challah. It’s a dense,sort-of-sweet egg bread so it’s perfect for bread pudding (and french toast, FYI.)

To that, I added the most glorious mixture of pumpkin, eggs, cream, and fall spices. It’s like a super creamy, rich version of pumpkin pie.

Once that has time to soak into the bread, everything gets mixed with some white chocolate chips to make it extra rich, creamy, and flavorful. After about an hour in the oven, it’s ready. (Told you this was simple.)
