Nice and quiet place to live

Its nice and quiet eventhough they allow dogs you dont hear them barking at night. The neighbors keep it to themselves. The manager Sherry is very quick to response to any problems. Maintenance guy is so nice and friendly. I had some repairs done and they fixed it right away. Thank you! The apartment is very spacious and no bugs. The balcony is a very decent size. You really do get your moneys worth.

You don't want to live here

so from the day my wife and moved in we didn't realize that there were bugs in the apartment. This started back in March. Now the management team has " sprayed and treated" the apartment several times which I believe to be not true at all they have sprayed once and they do nothing to help us out. The management team does not get any issue fixed In a timely manner. Our toilet ran continuously for about the first 3 months before they did anything about and it seems as if they don't want to do… anything to help the residents and the only time they are willing to help is when you threaten to take care of the problem yourself and then take that price off your rent or threaten to withhold rent

We also have a contract with a local pest management company who will come out and take care of any pest… problems. Please come into the management office and we'll schedule a meeting with the maintenance supervisor and the pest control company. Thank you.

We're sorry you had this experience. We are willing to spray an apartment as many times as necessary to cure the problem. Also, our maintenance personnel will respond by the next day to maintenance requests. A toilet running for that long is… extreme and your complaint will be investigated. Thank you for your tenancy.

Tamarack Gardens. The good and the not so good. Still a good place to live.

The Good:
Pretty solid apartment for the price. We are in the 2 bedroom deluxe apartment that features a WASHER AND DRYER in the apartment. As a renter you know that a HUGE HUGE perk! The apartment is fairly large, it's advertised at 1100 sq ft. central air conditioning in all 2 bedrooms, cable ready, ceiling fans, modern paint, they also allow you to repaint, decent size balcony or patio.
The manager named Sherry is very nice and helpful! We've only had 1 maintenance issue and they came out the… same day and the problem was resolved within a few days. It wasn't an emergency or I'm sure it would have been resolved sooner.
The complex is very very quiet. Even during the summer months it's been quiet. All of my neighbors are very friendly and pleasant. Great for families or couples without children.

The not so good:
The parking is good for tenants, there's room to purchase another spot.
For the price (their pricing is true on their website) you can't beat the amenities.
I don't love the layout of, the Kitchen is square and has shelving around 3 of the walls, the 3rd wall is the door. This leaves no room for an open wall to put a trash can against, or a kitchen cart.
The cabinets are pretty hideous! They're brown and the counters are a lighter brown.
The bedrooms are rectangular in shape so that make decorating a bit of a challenge.
The hardware on the apartment seems to be VERY cheap! Towel racks are always falling off, they snap right in to place.
The pool doesn't get deep, it only goes to 5 feet. But I'm bery happy to have a pool!
The 'gym' is very small about the size of a large living room, with old equipment. But hey, there's a gym!
The clubhouse exists. . . .I just have not seen it.

There you have it, over all a great place that I'd recommend to others!

Home is where your family is

Our apartment is home. Our next door neighbor used to comment that coming into our apartment was like the Beverly Hills of apartments. Our apartment is comfortable and definitely lived in.
