Co-living
My experience WAS great at first and I was so thankful for the convenient, affordable housing. I’ll give credit where credit is due. Maintenance staff is amazing and responds very quickly. The leasing agent has been very helpful for the most part and USED to respond quickly to my concerns. Everything changed when a new resident moved into the vacant unit across from me. Upon renting housing here I was under the impression that I’d be sharing co living space with two additional tenant. However,... they have allowed my coliving space to be shared between 4 people. They have two people living in a 200sq feet apartment. When I brought it up, I was gaslit and they got very stern with me as if I was imagining things. (Even with evidence on my phone). I understand times are hard but this is my home and I desire to live in a safe and comfortable environment. So now I’m living with some random person who is not even on the lease but I’m sharing the washer and dryer and kitchen with them. Not to mention, we share a mailbox so now i’m sharing a mailbox with an additional person, 4 people to one mailbox. How is that safe? How is that secure? How do I know that someone is not going through my things? And it’s a shame cause they think I’m just trying to be difficult. But it’s really a safety concern and It’s only natural to Wanna know who you’re living with. but instead of trying to resolve the issue, they just wanted me not to renew my lease.
