Do not even Tour!

Went for a tour a couple days ago and when I showed up there was no one to show me around but got a text and told it was going to be a self guided tour. When I parked on the street there was broken glass and trash on the sidewalk. The 2 units are toured were not ready at all for touring. 1 unit the kitchen was dirty, there was mold in the bathtub/shower, toilet was not clean, and the unit was not clean at all. The second unit was in the middle of being painted so did not get to see what it truly… looked like. Neither unit looked anything like the pictures online. The complex was a total run down dump and not worth going to.

Huge Space and Pet Friendly

I know it's really hard to find pet friendly housing in LA that is in a nice area and also accepts large dogs, but this is it! Apartment building is quiet, neighbors are friendly and the manager is very receptive to any issues you are having so any issues you have get fixed quickly. It also has central air which is a PLUS living in the valley. It also has underground parking, everyone gets 2 spaces and there is guest parking as well. Parking on the street is not an issue, just be mindful of the… anti gridlock times.

The apartment has hardwood floors, most come with a patio or balcony and the only carpet that exists is in the bedroom. It also comes with a dishwasher, but no fridge so that you will have to buy yourself.

The apartment is also across the street from Chatsworth High which I hear is a pretty decent school considering the alternatives.

It is also student friendly if you have alternate sources of income. I know that is an issue with a lot of rentals.

And did I mention it is pet friendly!? Yes, it is! Large, well behaved dogs are welcome.

Chatsworth Plaza Apartments - Really Nice Place

I'm really satisfied with Chatsworth Plaza Apartments because I feel you get a lot of 'bang for your buck.' The apartment complex offers a spacious one-bedroom layout, with hardwood floors, and plenty of closest space. It has a smaller pool and grill than I'm used to - but honestly I think it's a hidden gem of sorts.
