Bargain for A Price
If you want to move in to a brand new apartment, then this might be the spot for you. There are many red flags about the layout of the apartment/building. There’s a three panel light switch inside of the living room. Only one works the other two aren’t connected to anything. There’s a light switch in your room that doesn’t connect to any outlet so if you go to turn it on, you won’t cut on a plugged in light in the bedroom.(there is no light in the one bedroom). The fan inside of the bathroom... initially I thought was broken. Turns out it works if you leave it on for about a minute. The walls have no paint coating so if you go to clean them, you’re basically rubbing off the paint. you cannot get traditional Wi-Fi services connected to your apartment. Only the buildings Wi-Fi offered, which is $50 a month. you’re only given one key card to get in and out the building same with the key fob to get into your apartment and if you lose any of these, you have to pay a fee to replace them no spares. Bart is very loud being right next to the building if it’s bearable for you then by all means. There is little to no noise cancellation throughout the building so you can hear neighboring apartments entertainment/TV sets through the hallway and in your apartment up and down. there is no access to the stairs on the first floor only going out not up. Your mailbox’s number doesn’t correspond to your unit number and when you have big packages, they put it in a large parcel room which is accessible to anyone who has a key card instead of them, putting a key in your personal mailbox to open a bigger one which they have. there are car break-ins, someone I know car got broken into and management did little to prevent it from happening. A small amount of pest. The fitness room is very small with only a few machines. The yoga room seems to be a little bit bigger with three bike machines inside of it. Laundry can be a little bit expensive but slightly cheaper compared to most laundromats in an area a few good things about the complex is Most tenants are friendly building is also pet friendly and management seems to be friendly in person. If you’re looking for a income restricted place, this might be for you although you’re liable to be charged more than promised, even after relevant pay information showing how much you make. The building is situated in downtown so for someone without a car you don’t really have to walk far to get entertainment or to buy groceries.
