Lakeshore Apartments

This complex has mold, the insulation is not up to code, meaning the units will have high heating bills in the winter, and cooling bills during the summer. The management are completely incompetent; lease policies are not enforced, so you may end up stuck next to bad neighbors with nothing to do about it.

I looked at many apartment buildings in Davis and Lakeshore is the most beautiful one I saw. Apartments had lots of natural light as well, not dark and dingy like a lot of apartments can be. Beautiful grounds with trees, water features, and birds always singing. Very pet friendly property. Convenience/lifestyle is a huge plus with onsite laundry (if unit doesn't have laundry), mail box, filtered water station, soft drink station, elevator, bike racks, bike repair station, study room, gym,... clubhouse you can rent, pool/spa, large sidewalk, across the street from bus stop, small grocer, dollar store, and some restaurants (with live music sometimes), as well as other services. Next door to Stonegate Country Club with pools, tennis courts, dog park, and gym. The lake is beautiful to see every day. The pool is almost always freezing even when its very hot out and can get dirty, both issues likely from the trees. Maintenance and Pest issues are usually taken care of promptly. Some parties every once in a while but only on weekends. Local school (Patwin) is great for elementary kids, and it is walkable/rideable.
