Grateful
I retired in December of 2014 and thought it was going to be the easiest part of my life. My rent is high but the owner keeps it under all other rents in Downey. I owe my owner and he is the kindest man in this world because he has allowed me to stay even though I owe him so much. I have searched and apartments are not what they used to be in this area. I could move and get a senior place, but then I would leave my granddaughter, who goes to college and trying to make something of her life. ... I love her so much and she deserves so much! I owe it all to my owner who gives me a chance and allows me to try to catch up. If he asked me to move, I would not hold it against him. I am so grateful. The complex is clean and he loves flowers, plants and roses. I would hate to move.
