Great Management, Maintenance, and Location

We!ve been here almost two years, and it’s been a wonderful experience due in part to the excellent management and maintenance teams. Both are attentive and always professional ensuring needs are promptly met and always with a positive attitude. Service requests are handled faster than at any other property I’ve lived in, and the grounds are well-maintained. Having the plaza, eateries, and farmers markets within walking distance is a huge bonus.

Great Management and Great Location

This is our third year at Metro510.

Excellent Staff: Across the board, staff are very responsive, competent, and friendly. Michael, the Complex Manager, is excellent and very helpful Julio and newcomer Jesus have significant experience in maintenance and repairs. All three of them handle requests quickly and competently.

Building +s: Dedicated Amazon locker, small resident lounge with tea and a Starbucks coffee machine. Several resident parties a year, including Easter egg hunt for kids. …

Building Improvements: New boiler, new EV chargers coming to the garage. Some cosmetic improvements as well – new hall and outside lighting. Improved landscaping.

Superb Location: Close to services and stores. Very walkable. Adjacent to El Cerrito Plaza –a Trader Joes and Lucky just steps away. A large CVS. UPS and FEDEX close by. Nearby post office and three banks (Chase Wells Fargo and Mechanics). A short walk up San Pablo to two very good Chinese restaurants near El Cerrito Theater. A bit longer walk to Solano Avenue’s collection of good restaurants. Whole Foods on Gilman a 10 minute bus ride away.

Transport: El Cerrito BART 5-8 minutes away. Multiple AC buses there and on San Pablo Avenue.

Noise: Our apartment does not face the Ohlone Trail and so can't comment on noise from BART there. No serious noise problems in our apartment - from BART or the street..

Convenient commute, nice unit

The units are new and very nice. It's close to parks and playgrounds for my daughter, and easy for me to take BART into SF. Trader Joe's and Starbucks is walking distance, as well as a little mainstreet with shops and restaurants. It's also pet friendly, which is a huge plus for me, as well as the air conditioning. I haven't tried the BBQ area yet but i'm looking forward to it. The leasing process was super easy which was nice after other experiences I've had.

Great so far

My wife and I moved in two months ago. Management is very responsive and it made move-in pretty easy. We both commute and the fact that the BART station is walking distance has proved a lot more convenient and quicker door to door than I thought. There are restaurants and coffee shops we can walk to as well. I like the hardwood floors as well and the appliances work well. We haven't had any noise or other issues.
