Roaches everywhere when walking at night. Black widows around every apartment outside. Management only cares about filling the units and does not take the time to take care of the property or ensure the property is secure. I have noted many unhoused going through the trash and peoples cars being broke into when they are supposed to have security on site.

Worst place to live. It’s Roach infested tenants are always loud , security is no good and office is no help and useless. Do not move here

My brother and I have been living at Villa Lucia for close to four years now and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The complex itself is gated and well kept. Another plus is that it's dog friendly. Overall, the atmosphere was great! It's a quiet complex and we loved that. It's also conveniently located.
Management and maintenance were top-notch. I would usually talk to Angie and she was always nice, understanding, and communicative. She was my favorite staff person to interact... with. Maintenance was ALWAYS on it. If I had issues with my unit, it was always resolved within 24 hours. I had AC issues twice and both times the issues were promptly resolved.
Overall, Villa Lucia is a great complex. We're sad to leave because this has been our cozy home for so long now. I don't understand the negative reviews but if you're considering Villa Lucia, I'd say go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Be prepared to have your car towed at least once., or even guest that you have over. You must get a parking permit for a guest to park on the property. However here is the catch if the office is closed and you have a guest over after hours and you did not know they were going to be over then they could get their car towed. I should say kidnapped by the Sons of Anarchy towing company and held for ransom. If you park in your own stall you have to have a parking permit that permits you to park in... a covered stall. If you park outside your covered stall your permit is no good. You could be towed.
