Willow Glen Apartments

Pretty and cozy place to live. So quiet and close to the freeway exit. But management is so bad, they never answer the phone and neither you get a call back. The office is always closed and only open for an hour from Monday thru Thursday. Too bad it's nice but very poor management, unprofessional.

This apartment complex is overall, a great deal. In the expensive San Francisco Bay Area, it offers inexpensive rent at $1,250 per month for a 2-bedroom, 2 bath apartment in a good neighborhood (This price is almost unbelievable being that it is a mere approx 25 minutes from San Francisco). The rent includes water and garbage and one covered parking space. You can pay an additional $30 per month for a second parking space that is not covered. Most of the parking spots are about 60 seconds or so… of walking to your designated apartment. We've lived here for 3 years and all the neighbors have always been very nice and respectful. It is always very clean and well-kept, landscaping done regularly. One small downside is the manager is very strict with several rules. It can be frustrating, but it is also likely what keeps the place running smoothly. There is a laundry facility on the property that has several washing machines and dryers that require $1.25 each. Most of the time there are plenty of machines available. Also, the dumpsters usually have plenty of room for garbage, as they are emptied regularly. The apartments themselves have good sized rooms, with beige carpet, but a somewhat small dining area. Kitchen includes a dishwasher. This place is Perfect if you want somewhere safe and quiet. However the way it stays that way has it down side. The Manager is always watching what you are doing and who's coming and going, you get constant little notes if you do anything she deems wrong which can get very annoying ; example: have to walk bikes through the parking lots, Phone's Music was too loud, visitors cant use your parking spot (not all bad it dose keep everyone in line or they move out). The rent is fairly priced for… location, its right off the freeway but because of the wall you cant really hear it.
