Forest Glen

do you want bed bugs? live here for a few months and you will start noticing them pop up. the most miserable year of my life was spent in this place. We had to throw away everything we owned, TWICE. we got them not once, but twice. they promise their "treatment" will work but never trust a chemical treatment. Not only that but we had a bee hive living in the air vents, our apartment was broken into, my car was broken into. Do not live here.

We have lived at Forest Glen for a year and 6 months now and are very happy with our decision to live here.

We picked Forest Glen originally because it is a smaller community with a lot of families living here (not a frat boy haven). We also liked the landscaping, full of trees that provide a woodsy feel. The family atmosphere helps us feel safe and at home.  Although, safe is pretty much a given, Lake Forest as a whole is a very safe place to live.  Part of this family atmosphere is kids… playing outside and having fun.  If you would rather a huge community where nobody knows each other and the pricey amenities are never actually used, by all means, move along.  However, if you want an actual community feel where people look out for one another, this is the place for you.

The apartments are HUGE for the price.  We toured many apartments before deciding on Forest Glen, and per sq. ft, you get the best bang for your buck here.  We have never had a parking issue.  We have a covered parking spot with a storage bin, and our second car is parked in the overflow parking.  It has never been any trouble getting a spot inside, and even if there was, there is ample street parking.

The location is ideal, close to the 5 and 405 connection, lots of shops and stores, and minutes from Saddleback Hospital and Medical Center.

The main asset to this property is courteous, prompt service by management.  We have never had a major issue, but any minor issue has been dealt with quickly and great care.  The property manager, Susie, is super friendly and professional and takes pride in her community.  She responds to emails and calls within an hour or two at most and does her best to solve all issues within the day.  The maintenance staff is knowledgeable, trustworthy and prompt.  We feel like we are in good hands with people who care about us! Forest Glen is aptly named! The complex is nicely landscaped and has kept so many trees around the buildings to give a nice view which is appreciated in a more urban area. The freeway is only a few minutes away and is next to two bus routes. The bedrooms are great size, and has a good amount of storage, even in the one bedroom units! Management is friendly and responds in a timely manner. We had originally planned on renting for a couple of years, but we have stayed for many more...

We live in a two bedroom two bathroom apartment. It's an upstairs unit. Been here for almost 4 years. Lake forest has always been where we like to live.
