Roach Hotel and Broken Everything

This place could be nice if the Housing Association paid the least bit of attention to regular maintenance. But cheap if as cheap does.
1. There is a pest control record posted in the mailroom that reveals regular spraying of the building for insects ceased in May, 2024
2. At least two of the east facing stairwell windows cannot be opened because, if they are, the window frame will seperate from its housing and fall off the building to the abandoned coffee shop below. Reminds me of the stock...
market crash of 1929. What a wonderful time to
3. Sometimes, the lifts (elevators) work and sometimes they don't. That must be part of their early 20th charm - before safety regulations became the fashion.
4. It seems a shame that the front door must remain locked, especially since the front door key can rarely unlock it.
