Converted Motel...Very outdated...
Property was built in the 60's as a motel, converted into very small apt units. Semi-modern at best. Small galley kitchen, studio and one bedroom units, both are same sq.ft. in size. Inadequate closet space. No self-cleaning ovens, no microwaves, no accommodation for handicap access, or apt. handicap design. No adequate security, Recent ownership change (2017) Management severely lacks interpersonal skills with tenants. I lived there ,went through ownership change, first owners operated... through a management company, they were okay. But after ownership change the new owner operates property himself, no communication with the owner, and property manager allows limited access to contact. Very poor, and difficult for tenants to deal with at times. Rent were lower then the state average, but still increased annually, and considering the property design and amenities, the property doesn't warrant higher rental leases. I lived there for several years, but would not recommend the property, nor would I choose to live there again. The property address is 22125 S. Main Street, Carson, CA. 90745.
